The question is not what to give, but how

On wood pasture, rangeland or a game estate there is no TMR wagon and no single water point, and treating animals one by one costs more than it solves. Parasite pressure, however, is there all year round, concentrated exactly where livestock graze and drink.

01
No wagon, no single trough

Nowhere to add the product.

02
Costly handling

Treating animal by animal does not pay.

03
Parasite pressure

All year round, at grazing and water points.

What it brings to your farm

Five reasons to hang it on your land

Parasite pressure

Continuous nutritional support on farms with coccidia, cryptosporidia, nematode and cestode challenge. It fits into the parasite control programme without replacing it.

Digestive microbiota

Balanced microbiota and better use of the nutrients in pasture and ration.

Biotoxins and defences

Support against the effects of biotoxins from undesirable bacteria, and for the animal's natural defences.

Repellent effect

Repellent effect on external parasites, an argument unique to Cocciblock within the range.

Self-dosing

Free access: zero handling and the same routine in intensive, extensive and game-estate settings.

How it works

Salt does the dosing, plants do the work

Phytobiotics favour the predominance of beneficial flora over undesirable flora, help to preserve the integrity of the intestinal mucosa and improve the use of nutrients.

STEP 1

Appetite for salt

37.7 % sodium makes the animal lick on its own initiative, and that is how it doses the phytobiotic fraction.

STEP 2

Plant extracts

The mixture of flavouring substances is the phytobiotic fraction of the block.

STEP 3

Seaweed and vitamin E

Seaweed meal provides trace elements, with 80 mg/kg of zinc; natural vitamin E completes the formula.

Directions for use

Hung up, on free access

Give on free access. Always hang the block so the animal can lick it comfortably: never on the ground or in the feed trough. Usage guide:

1
Cattle
1 block per 15 to 20 animals
2
Sheep and goats
1 block per 50 animals
3
Horses
1 block per horse
4
Pregnant sows
1 block per 20 to 30 sows
5
Game estates
1 block per 20 animals
In periods of stress, 2 blocks per 20 animals.
6
Average reference intake
10 to 15 g per animal per day
Field example

A flock of 180 ewes takes 4 blocks, that is two boxes, spread over four points in the paddock so that every animal has access.

Box of two Cocciblock blocksPractical points
Spread the blocks over several points, near water and favourite resting spots: dominant animals monopolise a single point.
Check intake in the first two weeks: if a block goes too fast there are too few licking points; if it is untouched, it is badly placed.
Take other sodium sources and mineral supplements in the ration into account so as not to double up.

Composition and technical data

Transparency in every ingredient

Composition

Sodium chloride, carob powder, seaweed meal, whey permeate and magnesium carbonate.

Additives

Technological: mixture of flavouring substances. Nutritional: RRR-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (3a700).

Analytical constituents

Crude ash 96.8 %; sodium 37.7 %; magnesium 0.9 %; calcium 0.6 %; zinc 80 mg/kg; phosphorus 178 mg/kg. Crude protein, crude fibre, crude oils and fats, lysine and methionine below 0.1 %.

How the formula works

Sodium chloride creates the appetite that doses the phytobiotic fraction; carob and whey permeate adjust palatability and cohesion, and the 81 °C melting point keeps the block intact in summer heat.

Safety and compatibility

Peace of mind, every day

Natural origin

Ingredients of natural origin, with no known side effects, that do not generate resistance.

Sodium supply

Take other sodium sources and mineral supplements in the ration into account so as not to double up.
