Micoxcocci

AMBIOTEC BALANCEMINERAL COMPLEMENTARY FEED

Micoxcocci

Parasite pressure and mycotoxins, in a single supplement for cattle and sheep

Essential oils, prebiotics and two binding clays, sepiolite and bentonite, added to the feed, the TMR mixer wagon or the feed blocks, supporting ruminants through their highest-risk stages: arrival at the feedlot, pre-calving and lactation.

The critical stages

Where the batch is won or lost

In cattle and sheep there are stages when several challenges come together: the arrival of grass-reared calves at the feedlot, pre-calving, lactation or ration changes.

On top of the parasite pressure on the farm there is often a mycotoxin load in forages and cereals that cannot be seen but takes its toll on intake, on defences and on the results of the batch.

01
Arrival at the feedlot

Grass-reared calves from different origins, with changes in feeding and housing.

02
Pre-calving and lactation

Cows and ewes that need to eat well and keep their defences up.

03
Invisible mycotoxins

Contaminated forages and cereals that affect intake and defences without clear signs.

What it brings to your farm

Five reasons to add it to the ration

Parasite pressure

Nutritional support on farms with coccidia, cryptosporidia and nematode challenge. It fits into the farm's parasite control programme without replacing it.

Mycotoxins and bacterial toxins

It acts as a binder and adsorbent of mycotoxins and of toxins from undesirable bacteria such as clostridia, and controls the toxic effects of the 6 most pathogenic mycotoxins.

Mucosa and defences

Protects the intestinal mucosa by reducing its permeability and improves the immune response in times of stress.

Performance

Better use of nutrients and, thanks to its antioxidant activity, it helps improve carcass shelf life.

Easy handling

Added to the feed, the TMR mixer wagon or the feed blocks, with no withdrawal period before slaughter.

How it works

Three fronts in a single product

Its action combines the balance of the microbiota, the protection of the mucosa and the adsorption of toxins in the digestive tract before they are absorbed.

STEP 1

Essential oils and prebiotics

The aromatic fraction provides the phytobiotic action; β-glucans and mannan-oligosaccharides support the beneficial microbiota.

STEP 2

Bentonite and sepiolite

The two clays bind mycotoxins and bacterial toxins in the intestine, before they are absorbed.

STEP 3

Protected mucosa

Helps protect the intestinal mucosa, reduce its permeability and strengthens the animal's defences.

Directions for use

In the feed, the TMR mixer wagon or the feed blocks

Orally, via the feed, the TMR mixer wagon or the feed blocks. Label dose by stage:

1
Suckling calves
2 kg/t of feed up to 120 kg body weight
2
Arrival of grass-reared calves
2 kg/t of feed for the first 40 days
3
Single growing feed in fattening
1.5 kg/t
4
Pre-calving cows
2 kg/t in the TMR mixer wagon
5
Lactating cows
1.5 kg/t in the TMR mixer wagon
6
Suckler cows
3 kg/t of feed blocks
The full programme is equivalent to 40 kg of feed block per cow.
7
Pre-lambing ewes
3 kg/t in the TMR mixer wagon
8
Lactating ewes
1.5 kg/t in the TMR mixer wagon
Field example

A batch of 50 suckler cows eats 2,000 kg of feed block over the full programme, which contains 6 kg of Micoxcocci. In an 8-tonne TMR mixer wagon for lactating cows, 12 kg are added.

Suckler cows in a dehesaPractical points
Pre-mix the product with a small part of the ration before adding it to the mixer wagon, so it is evenly distributed.
Respect the mixing time of the mixer wagon.
Use respiratory protection, goggles and gloves when handling the powder.
